Almost There

Currently on my layover in Amsterdam. I am running on perhaps an hour of fitful rest, I did not really sleep on the first leg of my journey.

My home has been (mostly) cleared out for renters and I will begin canceling items like car insurance as they no longer apply to my life for the time being. I am so thrilled to hopefully never own a car again.

Sharing a gripe that I think it’s awful that people still opt not to wear masks on flights, especially when they are clearly unwell. There was a woman on my flight hacking her lungs out, mask-less and depraved. Given the fact that we have all living in a post-pandemic world, it shocks me that people still choose to be so selfish in our communal spaces.

I had a mask on, which gave me a sense of ease, at least. And soon enough, I will be enjoying life in Spain.

So close. So close. So close.
