Life Abroad

I have been living overseas for about two weeks now. It still doesn’t quite feel real, as I have been living in a hotel the entire time so far. The search for housing has been harder than I had initially imagined, but I am choosing to remain hopeful that a place I can call home will be revealed to me soon.

I have been taking Spanish courses and can definitely see an improvement in my knowledge and vocabulary, even after such a short period of time. I cannot wait to see how this will expand even more as time continues on.

What I am most excited about is the fact that I am moving everyday in a way that I haven’t in a long time. I have to walk around everywhere, so even though I am not going to the gym, I am still getting plenty of movement. That’s what makes me most excited, because I am not a fan of going to the gym. Movement is crucial and it is now a part of my life.

I look forward to finding a home and creating my true routine.

So far, I am joyful.
