Recently, I traveled to Budapest, Hungary. I had been told by many that it was a totally rad place to visit and lots of fun. Unfortunately, I experienced racism while there, from being completely ignored by staff at restaurants, to being inappropriately touched and verbally assaulted. It was a rough experience.
Having complete strangers walk up to me and simply grab at me was disconcerting. Then, when I rebuffed their advances, they hawked insults or vicious-sounding words at me in their native tongue.
It shouldn’t be outlandish for a grown woman to now want to be touched by complete strangers.
I am not an animal, do not touch me or my hair
